Maps (Red & Green I – IV)

Maps, screen-printed and embossed into the paper delineate a mark, a patch, a place of our own.

Each ‘patch’ of green or red, it’s dimensions measure the surround of a sitting or standing figure.

The ‘green grass of home’ attracts, whilst the red signifies a discomfort, something unfamiliar.

Never still, one map leads to the next, an amorphous shape, constantly changing and re-arranging, alike to our own sense of being, belonging; our striving to feel ‘at home’ in the world.
